Creative Endevours at MFC

Come shawcase your art at MFC 2026. All creators welcome, from first-time artists to established creators.
We hope to give everyone a space to showcase thier talents. 

The Dealer’s Den is a 3 day event space for established vendors within Melbourne Furry Convention 2026. This is the space to be to find your next perfect furry item, with vendors selling apparel, fursuits and trinkets! 

Dealers Den Content Rating 

All of our Dealers’ public facing merchandise are to adhere to an M rating. Some Dealers may hold MA15+ or higher material in a closed folder available by request only and will require attendees to show their con badges to ensure they are over 18. If a booth is found to publicly display or provide MA15+ or higher items without correct protocol, staff will enforce the removal of the offending products from display. Attendees are also to adhere to similar ratings with their attire and behaviours. 

If you see anyone acting inappropriately or if material inside the Den makes you uncomfortable, please let the Dealer’s Den staff table know on the day or reach out via Telegram with a request for Dealer’s Den staff. 

Dealers Den Etiquette 

In the Dealer’s Den we are enforcing the following etiquette and rules; 

  1. Always ask before touching anything in the Den; do not push further if told “No”. 
  2. Fursuits may not be worn in the den. Ears, paws and small tails may be worn. 
  3. Masks will be mandatory in the den. Masks must fit snugly at the nose and the chin, balaclavas or bandanas are not an appropriate substitution. It is recommended that you supply your own masks, staff will have a small supply of masks at the door. It is encouraged that you re-use masks where it is appropriate to do so.Do not loiter inside the Den, you can always come back later! 
  4. Report any dangerous or inappropriate behaviour to a member of MFC staff as soon as possible.

Late night campfire, anyone? Want to find and sell goods that can’t be seen by PG audiences? Then the night market is for you! The Night Market will function similarly to the Dealers Den with tables of vendors selling various goods. We are expecting our vendors to have a high quantity of NSFW items such as art, gear and trinkets for sale. Please have your ID available for vetting upon entry. 

The Night Market (18+) is a restricted vendor and attendee space for over 18 audiences only and runs for one night, on Friday 5pm-11pm  

Night Market Etiquette: 

  1. All of the Dealers Den Etiquette rules apply. 
  2. Clothing does NOT equal consent. We appreciate and encourage those who want to change into or wear clothing/items that match the vibe. This means we must respect one another’s space and boundaries. Anyone who is found to be acting inappropriately will be removed from the space immediately. 
  3. Any potentially kink or fetish attire must be kept within the Garden Room space during the Night Market time. If you leave this space, you are to cover up adequately as if you are walking through a public park. 
  4. Please keep your clothes on. The art may be nude, but we expect you to keep yourself covered!

On the Sunday of the convention, one of our rooms will transform into a bustling artist alley! This is a rotating space, open to artists of all skill levels. Want to try vending for the first time ever? Get more experience? This is suited to you! 

The Artist Alley for 2026 will have two methods of securing a space; 

  1. Pre booking via the booking form. The booking process will be like making a reservation in a restaurant. You are to select the timeslot that best fits you and we will review your ticket and information to lock in your slot.  
  2. Walk in not the day. If you are not feeling up to it just yet to put in a booking, that is okay! We’ll maintain a portion of the tables available for any walk-ins. The only thing you need is a valid MFC26 badge on the day to secure a spot on the schedule. 

Please note that the booking process will be first come first serve. The booking form will take note of your time stamp, and walk-ins will also be scheduled as such. Artists will rotate throughout the day so there will always be someone new, and another chance for artists to show off their wares! 

The artist alley has no cost, but vendors must have a valid convention pass to reserve a table.  

The space has the following restrictions to vendors: 

  • Half table space only 
  • Small, easy to pack up and pack down displays of a maximum height of 2 cubes (70cm). You must be able to set up and pack down within 10-15 minutes
  • 1 chair 
  • Table cloth is supplied 
  • No large fursuit pieces (such as heads). Please apply to the Art Show if you wish to sell a pre-made.

Do you have something cool, beautiful, strange or fun but doesn’t quite need a full vendors space? Well, check out the MFC Art Show! Display a painting, a fursuit head, a sculpture, anything artsy and crafty! Help us make an amazing gallery. 

The Art show is open all 3 days of the convention for your artwork/s! Artists not attending MFC may apply and ship their artworks. 

The following items are desirable for our collection:

  • Paintings 
  • Collections of artworks/exhibit pieces (eg, a series of matching paintings) 
  • Sculptures, art dolls 
  • Fursuit Premades 
  • Display only pieces or art related advertisements. 
  • Other wacky and fun ideas! 

Art Show Applications will open soon. You must submit an artwork proposal, this artwork does not need to be finished, but payment will be required for your space hire. If you are unable to complete your artwork before the convention, please note that all refunds must be processed before December 31st 2025. You may opt your artwork in to be sold at a flat price or a silent auction, it is up you, the artist!   

Art Show Etiquette:

In the ART SHOW we are enforcing the following etiquette and rules: 

  1. Do NOT touch any artworks. 
  2. Bids & purchases are final. If you bid and pull out if winning, it may hinder your ability to bid on artworks in the future.  
  3. In the case of a no-show for the final bidder upon payment and collection, the artist may choose to contact the next highest bidder instead. 
  4. The artist can refuse any final bids and sales upon their digression.  
  5. Report any dangerous or inappropriate behaviour to a member of MFC staff as soon as possible.
